Interested in Supporting Me and Empty Arms, Vermont?...May, 2024

Dear Community,

 This was my dad!

I don't know what year this was, but he was training (again) for a marathon. This one in Vancouver, BC. I came across this picture recently and couldn't resist using it.

I used to run with my dad when I was a little girl. When he got home from work, we'd head out for a few miles. Then, as I got more and more into ballet, I chose ballet over running. My parents were always supportive of us kid's passions, so ballet over running wasn't an issue.

I've enjoyed running to an extent(!), and I'm back at it, this time to run in the Empty Arms Vermont 5K on June 29th in Burlington, VT. I guess I still have the running bug from my dad in me. I wish he was around to do this run together!

I chose to do this, and support Empty Arms Vermont after feeling quite alone in my experience with miscarriages over the past few years. My friends and family are very supportive, but there was still a sense of deep loneliness after 7 miscarriages. Last month I was searching online for an event to participate in this summer. When I saw this 5k walk/run in Vermont, I knew it was right for me. I turned to Tobin, a bit teary, and said, "This is perfect. I want to do this".

PS. Interested in gifting my streaming site to a friend or family member for one month or longer? Click HERE to access the streaming site, and there is a “gift” option on the bottom left of the page.

I personally gift the streaming site to a few people who can’t afford the $11.99 a month at this time, but use it for physical, emotional and mental health. If you’d like to sponsor someone for a year long membership, it's $60 for the year. Email me to sponsor someone! Its a nice thing to do. info@movementtherapyco.com
