Evidence - breathing works...(May, 2023)

(From a newsletter just to my members)

Earlier this month I held a Spring Giveaway, and gifted a year long membership of the streaming site to one lucky winner. Hi name is Graham, and he lives just outside of London, England. I’ll be sending out an email soon with a little more information about Graham, in my general newsletter.

For today, I’d like to thank you for your continued support and membership to the site, for spreading the word to friends and family when it feels appropriate and genuine, and give you some recommendations for this week to help you take good care of yourself, and feel better in your body.

Also, I will be holding an End of Summer Giveaway, so you’ll have another chance to enter soon!

This past week I received an email from a woman who has been a long time member of the site. Here’s what she said:

“I just wanted to thank you for the breathing techniques you've taught me. They really came in handy yesterday when I had an MRI. I have claustrophobia, and I was anxious and stressed when inside that tube, nearing a panic attack. When I just closed my eyes and pretended I was in final resting pose doing some relaxing breathing exercises, it made the 20-30 minutes inside that machine go by quickly and virtually without panic. I can't thank you enough”.

And this is why I teach these practices. They work.

Below are my 3 recommendations for the week. Try them out. Let me know how they work for you!

0 - 15 Minute Category:

Beginner/All levels/Moderate #32 - Belly Breathing for relaxation

Beginner/All levels/Moderate #16 - A simple movement and breathing practice - inhale what you need, and exhale out what you don’t need Align and Refine Tutorials: Bridge - When we learn how to practice Bridge Posture well, we not only strengthen our entire back body (which is necessary if you sit throughout the day), but by opening the front, top of the chest and shoulders, we're able to breathe well and easier! More recommendations and new classes coming soon. Please take good care of yourself and each other this weekend. My best to you, always. Jamie
