Movement Therapy

Movement Therapy Company and Jamie Elmer help individuals manage pain, heal and prevent injuries, improve posture and balance, be physically fit and feel better in their body. This is achieved through physical therapy practices, Pilates, yoga, breathing practices and fitness modalities.

Working together, in a personal session, is the optimal way to receive the individualized attention you need to achieve the best physical results.

Movement Therapy Company also has an online streaming video site to support your physical health between personal sessions, or if working together one on one isn't an option. Click HERE for streaming site.

Here's how a one on one session works, in person (if in the Grand Junction, CO area) or online:

E-mail via the Contact page, to set up a 20 minute complimentary phone or zoom session to determine whether we're a good fit to work together.

Once we've connected, and we believe Movement Therapy Company can help you, you'll be emailed a questionnaire to fill out. Please return the form to info@movementtherapyco.com at least 24 hours prior to our first session, along with payment for your session. Click here to pay.

The first session is 90 minutes, in which we'll discuss your needs and your goals, and you'll receive a postural assessment, walking (gait) analysis, a general fitness assessment and take home exercises.

After our initial session together, you can sign up for a 5 session program where you will be taught individualized practices and exercises to help achieve your goals of healing, pain management and fitness.

If you're ready to get started, e-mail us through the Contact page to set up your complimentary phone or zoom session. And to purchase your first, 90 minute session, or package of 5 sessions, please click here.

“It’s remarkable how well Jamie is able

to identify alignment issues and give clear, concise adjustment cues via Skype. She also encourages follow-up calls or emails

if I have any questions after each session, and I feel comfortable contacting her.

This is an added bonus—something you don’t necessarily get at a studio class.”
